How long do breast implants last?

Will I lose nipple sensation after breast augmentation?
Some temporary change in sensation is common. Most patients regain full sensation within a few months to a year. Permanent changes are rare but possible — your surgeon will discuss this risk at consultation.
Can I breastfeed after breast augmentation?
Most women can breastfeed after breast augmentation, particularly when the incision avoids the areola. Discuss your breastfeeding intentions with your surgeon during consultation so the technique can be planned accordingly.
What size implants should I choose?
Implant size is chosen collaboratively based on your body measurements, existing breast tissue, and desired result. Your surgeon will use sizing tools at consultation to guide the decision — the goal is always a proportionate, natural-looking result.
Is there a scar after breast augmentation?
Yes — small scars are placed in discreet locations: under the breast fold, around the areola, or in the armpit crease. The location is chosen for best concealment. Scars fade significantly over 12–24 months with proper scar care.
